After three years of manual labor, a mentorship workshop reignited his belief and reopened the doors to tertiary education.

Rodgers completed his secondary education in 2022 with determination and hope. But after graduation, reality set in; with no financial means to pursue higher education, he began doing manual jobs to support his parents. His family simply could not afford to sponsor him further.
Year after year, his dream of joining a tertiary institution seemed to drift further away. For three years, he waited. Then he attended The Borne Community Network mentorship workshop and everything changed.
The workshop reignited his belief that his education did not have to end. For the first time in a long while, he saw possibility again. Soon after, the organization stepped in to support his tertiary education.

Today, Rodgers is back on the path he once thought was closed forever.
